FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test (Single Pack)
The FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test is a convenient and accurate way to test yourself for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the ease, comfort and safety of your own home.
Covid-19 is a contagious respiratory virus which quickly spread across the globe after it was first identified in 2019, deeming it a pandemic by the World Health Organisation. Some of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 can include a cough, fever, difficulty breathing, muscle ache and fatigue. In more severe cases, symptoms can include pneumonia, which is why early detection of COVID-19 is crucial.
The FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test works by using a sterile nasal swab to collect a nasal sample from both nostrils. The swab is then placed into a diluent (buffer solution) for 30 seconds until the swab and diluent are throughly combined. Thereafter, 4 drops of the sample are dropped onto the testing cassette. This testing cassette already contains the antibody which is particular to the COVID-19 virus. An antibody is a protein produced by the immune system to fight off the antigen (in this case the antigen is the COVID-19 virus). If the sample contains the antibody, this will be positively identified and reflected in a positive COVID-19 result (2 lines displayed on the test cassette). If there are no antibodies present within the sample, then this will be reflected with a negative result (1 line displayed on the test cassette).
Results are available to read in just 15 swift minutes. With an overall accuracy of 98.8%, the FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test is a simple and an easy-to-use self-test, with no additional medical equipment required.
The FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Self Test is UK government approved and has been widely tested and verified for self-testing by Porton Down Laboratories (where the UK’s leading scientists carry out extensive research on different infectious diseases). It is also CE marked, making this self-test a widely recognised global brand.
Let the trusted FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test help you and your loved ones stay safe and keep you informed about your COVID-19 status at all times.
