How to use of FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid self-test - 5-pack
This pack contains:
1 x Instruction leaflet
5 x Individually sealed aluminium test cassette with dessicant bag
5 x Individually sealed sterile swab
5 x Tube containing buffer solution
5 x Waste bag
1. Read the full instructions that are included in the pack.
2. Wash hands thoroughly and ensure they are dry.
3. Remove 1 buffer solution, peel back the aluminium foil and insert into the hole on the kit box (where there is a small white arrow).
4. Take 1 sterile swab and remove it from its packaging, taking care not to touch the absorbent tip.
5. Tilt your head back and insert the sterile swab into the nostril cavity.
6. Push the swab less than 2.5 cm away from the edge of the nostril and gently rotate 5 times.
7. Repeat step 5 and 6 for the other nostril.
8. Place the swab into the buffer solution and swirl for 30 seconds, squeezing the tube to ensure the swab and solution are mixing thoroughly.
9. Squeeze the absorbent tip one last time to ensure as much of the fluid has been removed from it and place the swab carefully into a waste bag provided.
10. Attach the dropper to the top of the buffer solution and ensure it is securely placed.
11. Place 4 drops of the sample onto the cassette well.
12. Wait 15-30 minutes to obtain a reading.
What do the results mean?
2 lines = a positive COVID-19 test
1 line on the control panel marked C = a negative COVID-19 test
1 line on the control panel marked T = an invalid COVID-19 test (in this case, please retake the test using a fresh nasal swab and test cassette).
